This clinic is designed for higher‑level beginner players who are no longer brand‑new to the game and are ready for more structured skill development. Ideal participants are those who play regularly, understand the basic flow of the game, and can sustain a short rally.
Participants Should Be Able To:

This two‑hour clinic is designed to help higher‑level beginners establish more control, purpose, and consistency in their game. You’ll receive personalized instruction in a fun, encouraging, and supportive environment that focuses on helping you improve at your own pace while building a strong foundation for future advancement.
What You’ll Work On
Dinking: Learn to control the ball at the kitchen line, move it with intention, and begin developing your soft game.
Drop Shots and Drives: Start building reliable drop shots and drives to help transition from the baseline into more balanced, controlled points.
Court Positioning & Movement: Improve your footwork and spacing while learning to transition from the baseline to the kitchen more consistently and confidently.

Age Requirement: This event is for individuals 14 years old and older.
Instructor: Vincente Herrera, a 5.0+ ranking player known for his advanced skills and knowledge of the game.
What to Bring
Water
Athletic shoes (preferably non-slip)
Comfortable sports attire
Paddle
Attendance Policy
Because space is limited, we ask that you attend the session or notify us in advance if you are unable to participate. Failure to provide notice and not attending may result in being ineligible for future MAPA events.
