The Magic City Pickleball Tournament is an outdoor event held at the Roosevelt Park Pickleball Courts in Minot. No alternate indoor venue is available. The tournament is generally scheduled as a round robin followed by a seeded double-elimination bracket.
The safety of players, spectators, volunteers, and staff is our highest priority. Due to the outdoor nature of the event, weather, daylight availability, court conditions, court availability, and tournament participation levels may impact tournament operations.
To ensure a safe, fair, and timely event, MAPA reserve the right to delay, suspend, modify, or cancel play at any time. Adjustments may include, but are not limited to:
Delaying or rescheduling matches
Suspending or resuming play due to weather or unsafe court conditions
Reducing the number of round robin games
Modifying bracket formats
Adjusting scoring formats
Combining or dividing divisions
Altering match schedules, court assignments, or start times
Reducing match lengths due to weather delays, excessive sunlight, limited daylight, or high participation levels
Canceling part or all of the tournament if necessary
These decisions may be required due to rain, lightning, high winds, extreme temperatures, poor air quality, challenging sun conditions, limited daylight, and court availability.
All weather, scheduling, and format decisions made by MAPA are final. By registering for the tournament, participants acknowledge that adjustments may be necessary and agree to abide by all tournament decisions.
Any refunds or future event credits resulting from weather-related delays, interruptions, or cancellations will be determined by MAPA at its sole discretion. All refund and credit decisions are final.
